On a recent trip to Elkins W.Va., my traveling companion and I spent a night in a hospital.
We were not sick or injured. The “Elkins Inn” was originally constructed as a four-story hospital.
When it was replaced, Days Inn purchased the property and converted it to a motel. Days Inn subsequently relocated and sold the property to the people that now operate it as the “Elkins Inn.” It was a good re-purpose of a facility that no longer functioned as originally intended
Could this be the future of St. Elizabeth Hospital’s Belleville building?
