Here’s an answer to the Aug. 6 pro and con on Planned Parenthood:
We are living in a time when citizens’ freedom of conscience, guaranteed by the Constitution, is being strongly violated. Tax money to Planned Parenthood is but a long-violated example of this. I, for one, do not want my tax money going to an organization that kills the unborn every day and then further profits from their remains.
From its inception, Planned Parenthood’s prime objection in helping the poor was to get rid of their babies.
Methods of contraception, studied and verified by very reliable medical personnel, are in themselves very harmful to women. If Dr. Mark DeFrancesco, author of the article on Planned Parenthood, doesn’t know of these problems, he is very negligent. A conference on this issue was held at Georgetown University this summer.
Never miss a local story.
If the money spent on deviant sexual practices was spent on educating the young in how their bodies work and the wondrous way we cooperate with God in bringing new life into the world under the concept of Natural Family Planning, we would have a large number of well-motivated and mentally stable young people who come from solid families.
The intentional killing of the pre-born is abhorrent and must be stopped.
Mother and fathers demand your children be taught Natural Family Planning and read the information yourself.
