Where is the Pope when you need him?
Just when you think some would be getting it — as in, taking a clue from Pope Francis and not staying in the most expensive places and eating at the most expensive restaurants, the Priests Convocation of the Diocese of Belleville was held at the Drury Plaza Hotel-Downtown St. Louis from Sept. 14-17 and a meal at Kemoll’s Restaurant also in downtown St. Louis and Bishop Braxton was staying in the Presidential Suite with a special menu.
When, in fact, they could use the Pastoral Center on Lebanon Avenue and have meals catered in. After all, they “acquired” the Pastoral Center from the former St. John’s School to benefit the diocese.
Never miss a local story.
