I have often wondered why so-called “moderate Muslims,” especially those who live in this country, do not condemn radical Muslim violence.
The editorial written by Rana Elmir, an American Muslim, entitled, “Why I Refuse To Condemn Terrorism” in the Dec. 30 edition of this paper verified what I have always suspected. Most Muslims in this country come here to benefit by our democracy when it suits them and ignore it if it doesn’t fit into their perverted ideas. They treat women like dirt, never assimilate into American society, refuse to associate with Americans and think of themselves as victims.
Elmir’s stories about a few individual Muslims being attacked by singular Americans, with no one being killed, pale in comparison with the murder of thousands of Americans by radical Muslim terrorists. Elmir’s contention that Americans want apologies is so much nonsense. Americans only want moderate Muslims to condemn the terrorists for their actions. Their failure to do so leaves the impression that they are all in on it and are secretly proud of how terrorists are killing Americans.
Rana Elmir’s vapid alibis only lend credence to that theory. Elmir should become a real American, hate our enemies, help protect our citizens, identify and condemn radical Muslim terrorists or get out. Her excuses lack veracity and only make me more suspicious of “moderate Muslims.”
