When the United States military believes they have taken out an ISIS or al-Qaida leader, the news media has three days of fanfare. Obama may even give a speech to acknowledge the event. Then a month later, Obama decides to replenish the ISIS and al-Qaida leadership ranks by releasing battle-hardened jihadist veterans from Gitmo. It really makes you wonder what’s between the community organizers ears?
Al-Qaida’s head man in Yemen is an Obama Gitmo releasee. Several other Gitmo jihadists, released by Obama, have also become prominent leaders in the Arabian Peninsula. Obama seems to understand the prisoners released from Gitmo automatically have an elevated status in the jihadists’ leadership hierarchy because of where they have been. Obama must also understand with the ISIS and al-Qaida expansion around the world, they need more experienced leaders. Maybe that’s why he has released another 10 jihadist leaders from Gitmo this month. What is between Obama’s ears?
