With the 43rd anniversary of Roe vs Wade upon us, here is a challenge to pro-life Christians; give yourself a late Christmas present, the gift of life. Mere talk doesn’t save lives, but your walk does. Pro-life should not stop at the womb, it goes until the tomb. We must stop killing one another and we must be our brother’s keeper. We must care for the fatherless. You are never too old or inexperienced to check out the Big Brother’s or Big Sister’s organizations, or the foster care/adoption program in your area.
It has been my experience the past 23 years outside the abortion mill in Granite City that many of the anti-abortion protestors have no children, or very few, or have empty nests. Here is your chance to fill it. There are so many children and babies sitting in the system waiting for a forever family to love them. Let us not stand by selfishly and do nothing to make a difference in the life of a child already here. Be their voice, meet their needs. After all, you are pro-life, aren’t you?
It may not be easy but the benefits are worth it. Our ministry has saved 5,195 babies the past 16 years, and 48 have been adopted. Screaming at women outside the abortion mill does not make you a hero, but to a child caught up in the foster care system, you can be.
