What is happening in Flint, Mich. could happen in any town in the country. Why? Because every town has galvanized, lead coated, or lead soldered pipes that could leach lead into improperly treated drinking water.
This common knowledge, which is why the government requires a certain amount of schooling and licensing for water plant operators. The question is why would a water operator knowingly fail to treat drinking water properly. Did they not care or was he ordered by someone? Perhaps it was terrorism? Personally I believe someone ordered it done to save money and make themselves look good and the water plant operator was trying to save his job, instead of doing it.
Why this is important? Because it is happening right here in Illinois in a different way. Everybody is too busy Covering Your Butt, (the politically correct term for CYA,) instead of doing their jobs. Perfect example is the pension system in Illinois or the state budget. Doesn’t take a rocket scientist to run it. Just someone with a little job integrity.
Finally, why does the main street media never ask these questions?
