We are told by the climate change people that the following things could happen here in America, and be caused by us as the polluters although we make up only 6 percent of the world’s population, and have the strictest pollution laws on the planet. Snow falling in July and August in New England and parts of Canada, heavy frost and ice storms, wells frozen over 8 feet below ground. These weather oddities caused corn crops to fail and the bird population reduced for up to 3 years because many had frozen to death.
Are they right? Yes! It has happened, and it was not caused by man. It happened in 1816, and was caused by an 1815 volcanic eruption of Mount Tambora in the Dutch East Indies. This left volcanic dust circling the globe, lowering temperatures several degrees and resulting in snow.
Is there climate change? Yes! We have cold and warm winters and cold and warm summers. Watch the local weather reports when they show the record highs and lows for the last 100 years ... climate change? Yes, but it is not caused by man! Hillary and others of that movement push climate change, backed up by the mainstream media. Until we have a national debate where both sides of the argument is presented, don’t jump to any conclusions.
