I have become depressed by reading all the bloviating screeds by letter writers Lori Felts, Joseph Reichert, Chris Tabing, Bill Malec, Lee Harris, Gene Robke, Roddy Riggs, Frankie Seaberry, and even that cleverly sarcastic David J. Busse.
The BND Editorial Board tries to be clever and snarky in their criticism of current events, but the outrage expressed is often confusing and lacking in hope for the future.
I suggest we all take a deep breath, sit back, relax, and just read Wally Spiers, Roger Schlueter, all the editorial cartoons and the comic strips, where real truth and authentic humor can be found. A daily dose of “Pearls Before Swine” will make us all feel a lot better.
