Waterloo senior Greysan Moehrs continued to show the form which has made him the premier Class 2A athlete in the hurdles in the metro east as he captured the 110 and 300 meter championships and lead the Bulldogs to an easy win at the Monroe/Randolph Bi-County Track Meet on Wednesday at Waterloo High School. The Bulldogs won boys division with 255 points, 150 more then Sparta. The Waterloo girls team also won the title, finishing with 201 points compared to 132 for Chester.
Choosing to play baseball for Parkland Community College in Champaign continues to pay dividends for 2015 Belleville East graduate Brady Schanuel. Schanuel, now 7-1 and leading the nation in strikeout average at more than 15 per game, visited Ole Miss over the weekend and has given a verbal commitment to play for the ninth-ranked Rebels.
