SLU SHOWCASE -- St. Louis University will host a high school showcase camp 9 a.m. Aug. 16 at the Billiken Sports Center designed for prospect-age players and featuring advanced instruction in all aspects of baseball. Fee: $100 for pitchers, $150 for position players and $175 for two-way players for the one-day, nine-hour camp. Video analysis of batting practice swings is an additional $30. The Billikens also will host a last-chance mini-camp for high school players Oct. 18. The camp is for prospects to display their talents in front of college coaches.
