Belle-Clair Speedway in Belleville will run its weather-delayed St. Clair County Fair race on Friday, the St. Clair Bowl/Bel-Air Bowl Don Klein 100.
The race pays UMP Late Models $2,000 to win and $200 to start. The 2013 winner was Springfield driver Matt Taylor.
Also on the racing card are UMP Modifieds, Micro Sprints and the Pro 4 Stocks.
Tri-City Speedway near Granite City will host it's $3,000 to win "Takin' It To The Streets" main event Friday with UMP National Points.
Also running are B-Modifieds, UMP Modifieds, UMP Crate Late Models and Kidz Modz.
Last Friday's feature winners at Tri-City were Highland's Randy Korte (UMP Late Models), Michael Long (UMP Modifieds), Kolby Vandenbergh (UMP Pro Crate Late Models), Jacob Rexing (Street Stocks) and Adam Webb (Factory Stock/4-cylinder UMP Sport Compacts).
Du Quoin State Fair
The Du Quoin State Fair will play host to a USAC Silver Crown race and UMP Modifieds stock cars racing on Sunday. Grandstands open at 4 p.m. with Modified heats at 7 p.m. and the feature race at 8 p.m.
On Monday, the track will host the ARCA Series Southern Illinois 100 and UMP Modified Stock Cars. NASCAR driver and three-time Southern Illinois 100 winner Kenny Schrader is scheduled to compete. The Modified feature is set for noon, an ARCA driver autograph session is 12:30 p.m. and the ARCA feature race is at 1:30 p.m.
Tickets are on sale at the Du Quoin State Fair ticket office by calling 542-1535, and by calling 217-764-3200. Advance tickets are $25 for adults and $10 for children 11-under. Race day prices are $30 for adults and $10 for children 11-under. Pit passes are $35.
Steve Stevenson was the feature winner in last Saturday's UMP B-Dry SportMod main event at Highland Speedway. There is no racing Saturday at Highland, which is holding its championship night Sept. 6.
Federated Auto Parts Raceway
Billy Moyer won the MARS/UMP Clash UMP main event last Friday at Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 in Pevely, Mo. Brandon Sheppard was second and Randy Korte was third.
Rusty Griffaw won the Modifieds feature ahead of Bobby Bittle and Jim Black. Trey Harris (Sportsman) and Joe Laws (Pro 4) were also among the winners.
This weekend is Super Federated Saturday at Federated Auto Parts Raceway.
