For the O’Fallon Panthers bowling team, the beat goes on and the pins keep falling.
Panthers junior Andrew Orf punished the lanes at West Park Bowl in Columbia with a staggering six-game total of 1,497 as he led the Panthers to a convincing win at the Columbia Bowling Regional on Saturday.
Part of a Panthers squad which has placed in the top five at the state finals in the last two years, Orf paced a lethal Panthers lineup which finished play on Saturday with a team total of 6,926 pins, more then 400 more then second place Belleville East (6,503).
Cahokia (6,403) and host Columbia (6,192) rounded out the top four bowlers who will advance to the Cahhokia Sectional on Jan. 23 at Bel-Air Bowl in Belleville.

Michael Toohey (1,396) and Josh Bradshaw (1,390) rounded out the top three bowlers for O’Fallon.
Belleville East was led by by Kurtis Murphy (1,365), while Cahokia sophomore Ryan Bovie (1,448) led the Comanches and Columbia’s Cade Stein (1,284) led the Eagles.
Gibault advanced four individuals to the sectional while Belleville West and Waterloo mvoed three bowlers each on to sectional play.
Freeburg’s Tyler Hunter (1,373) will be the Midgets only entry.
Taking advatantage of their home lanes, the Collinsville Kahoks earned the second place trophy and moved on to the Cahokia Sectional on Saturday at Camelot Lanes.
Former state champion Salem won the team title with a score of (6,326 pins), while Collinsville was second at 6,241.
Triad (6,163) and Highland (6,090) also advanced to the Cahokia Sectional,.
Leading the way for Collinsville was Hayden Juenger (1,302), while Triad got a good day from Gavin Pisetta (1,320) and Highland was led by Collin Korte (1,274).
