Collinsville narrowly beats Cahokia
Collinsville edged out Cahokia 44-42 at the Jerseyville Tournament.
The Kahoks were down by 6 points at the end of the first quarter but quickly bounced back. The Comanches’ lead fell to one point at halftime with a score of 22-21.

Collinsville was led by Keydrian Jones, who scored 14 points, and Marshall Harrison, who scored 13 points.
Collinsville (13-8) will play O’Fallon on Friday. Cahokia (7-9) will play Jerseyville at the Jerseyville Tournament on Saturday.

Wesclin beats Madison
Wesclin beat Madison 68-41 at the Okawville Tournament.
Wesclin (16-2) will play Okawville at the Okawville Tournament on Saturday. Madison (8-11) will play Mater Dei on Tuesday.
Mater Dei cruises past Mascoutah
Mater Dei beat Mascoutah 67-43 at the Nashville Tournament to seal its place in the championship game.
The Knights were led by Devin Rensing, who scored 21 points.
Mater Dei (9-9) will play Nashville for the championship at the Nashville Tournament on Saturday. Mascoutah (13-7) will play Central on Saturday.
Dupo wins again
Dupo, winners of its last three games after starting the season 0-15, beat New Athens 56-51.
New Athens had low-scoring second and third quarters, giving the Tigers the opportunity they needed to pull ahead.
Kyle Steinhauer led the charge for the Tigers, scoring 15 points. Kolbie Allen pitched in with 13 points.
Dupo (3-15) will try to keep its winning streak alive when playing Steeleville on Friday, Feb. 2. New Athens (5-11) will play Red Bud on Tuesday.
