Monticello eliminated Wesclin from the first round of the Class 3A playoffs 42-21.
The Warriors held a 21-7 lead at halftime, but Monticello scored 35 unanswered points in the second half to steal the win.
Jason Robinson gave Wesclin the lead on a 57-yard run with 54 seconds left in the first quarter.
Monticello was able to answer with a drive that ended on a 15-yard pass from quarterback Brandon Wildman to Noah Freeman, but Wesclin came back with two straight scores to give it the halftime lead.

Robinson broke off another long scoring run of 44 yards and Hayden Rapien capped off another drive with a one-yard run.
The Sages scored twice in the third quarter to take the lead, then four more times in the fouth to put it away. The longest of Monticellos' second half scores was on a 13-yard pass from Wildman to Freeman.
Monticello, the No. 6 seeded team in 3A, totaled 316 yards of offense, 216 of it on the arm of Wildman, who completed 20 of 35 passes and threw for four touchdowns. He also ran eight times for 46 yards.
Freeman was the game's top receiver at 130 yards on 11 catches and three touchdowns.
Robinson led Wesclin with 176 yards on 26 carries, including his two scores. Rapien was 4-of-10 passing for 22 yards.
The Sages (9-1) advances to a second-round match up with No. 3 Newton. Wesclin's season ends at 6-4.
