The Cardinals have annouced that General Manager John Mozeliak has been signed to a three-year contract extension, according to the Associated Press.
Terms were not disclosed. But a press conference is planned for later today.
Mozeliak has been the St. Louis GM for three years. His most noteworthy moves in that time are the trades for Matt Holliday and Mark DeRosa at the trading deadline last season, the signing of Holliday to a seven-year contract extension over the off-season and the trade of Scott Rolen to the Blue Jays for Troy Glaus.
