Cardinals land 28th overall pick as Brewers blink in Kyle Lohse standoff

Former St. Louis Cardinals starter Kyle Lohse, 34, finally found himself a new home while the Cardinals will finally get the first round draft pick they coveted when they gave Lohse a tender offer. The pick will be the 28th in the first round of the June draft courtesy of Lohse's new club, the Milwaukee Brewers. The pitcher, who held out for a deal until one week before the regular season starts, will get $33 million over three years.
