On this Date in Cardinals History: April 19, 1997

On this day in 1997 the Cardinals and the San Diego Padres became the first Major League Baseball teams to play regular season games in Hawaii. The Redbirds won both games of a tight double header at Aloha Stadium, taking the first one 1-0 and the second one by a score of 2-1.
