Dixon claims 614th career feature win at Belle-Clair

In the UMP Late Model division Aug. 7 at Belle-Clair Speedway, Ed Dixon won his 614th feature and was followed by Brian Wolfmeier, Mike Hammerle, John Beck and Jimmy Burwell to complete the top five.

In the UMP Modified class, Dean Hoffman won his third straight feature. Kenny Rumble, Chris Smith, Aaron Kleine and Brett Korves completed the top five.

In the UMP Sportsmen class, Joe Volluz won his second feature of the year with Mike Jones, Merk Schaefer, Brian Shubirg and Wade Sutter completing the top five. Points leader and seven straight feature winner, Jimmy Cummins did not compete.

Highland Speedway

In the UMP Late Model division, there were 23 cars trying to make the feature. Heat winners were Rick Salter, Mark Voigt and Mark Faust. The dash went to Faust.

Mark Faust won the 25-lap race for his seventh feature win of the season. Following Faust were Paul Bailey, Brian Wolfmeier, John Beck and Mark Voigt

In the UMP Modified class, there were 21 cars ready to race. Heat winners were Mike Harrison, Chad Sellers and Jim Werner. The dash went to Sellers.

Mike Harrison took the checkered flag. Chris Smith, Dean Hoffman, JimWerner and Robbie Eilers completed the top five.
