Blues Top Prospects

1. Jake Allen, Goaltender: Guaranteed a job with the Blues this season, Allen has already tasted NHL success (9-4 in 2012-13) and was dominant in the AHL last season.

2. Ty Rattie, Forward: Proved his junior scoring was no fluke by posting 31 goals and 48 points in his first AHL season with the Chicago Wolves. Nose for the net.

3. Dmitrij Jaskin, Forward: Still hasn't proven much at the NHL level, but Jaskin has promise and shouldn't be too far away from regular duty in the near future.

4. Joel Edmundson, Defenseman: Edmundson has size (6-4, 200) and strength and caught the Blues' attention with a solid rookie season in the AHL last year.

5A. Tommy Vannelli, Defenseman: Blues' top pick last season at 47th overall, he had 14 goals and 41 points in 60 games with Medicine Hat of the Western Hockey League. Recently was invited to Team USA's World Junior evaluation camp.

5B: Jordan Binnington, Goaltender: Third-round pick in 2011 turned in a 23-13-3 season for Kalamazoo in the East Coast Hockey League and has shown a lot of upside.
