Volleyball season ends for Valmeyer

LEBANON -- Valmeyer High's volleyball season came to an end Tuesday with a 25-10, 25-17 loss to Patoka in the semifinals of the Class 1A Lebanon Sectional.

The Warriors (17-11) dominated play against Valmeyer, which was attempting to win its second straight sectional title. Valmeyer, which only has two seniors, finishes 19-10.

Patoka (17-11), which won the school's first regional title Saturday, will take on Bunker Hill (31-6) in the title match at 7 p.m. Thursday.
