Judy Pace Flood, widow of longtime Cardinals outfielder Curt Flood, will sell some of her husband's most prized possessions from his personal collection of baseball memorabilia Nov. 14 in Louisville, Ken.
Collectibles that will go across the block include Flood's 1964 World Series championship ring, a portrait the talented outfielder painted of Cardinals ace Bob Gibson, his 1963 Rawlings Gold Glove and several autographed baseballs by baseball legends. There is even one signed by civil rights icon Rosa Parks.
For more on this story and to find out why Flood's widow decided to sell the items, read the News-Democrat Friday or log onto www.bnd.com.
