All U.S. veterans and active-duty military with proof of current or former U.S. military service will enjoy a free entree from a selection of six signature favorites. Those meals include the house sirloin steak, Chicken Tenders Platters, Fiesta Lime Chicken and others.

LOOK FOR THE STAMP

Not sure the products you're buying at the supermarket have enough whole grain to suit your diet?

There's an easy way to tell: The Whole Grains Council introduced a "100 percent Whole Grain" stamp several years ago that's on more than 3,000 products, according to www.wholegrainscouncil.org.

The stamp was created to help consumers easily tell if a product contains 100 percent whole grain, which means the product offers 47 grams or more of whole grains per serving. If a product has the organization's "Whole Grain" stamp, it has 8 grams or more of whole grains per serving.

PET HOOF RECALL

PetSmart is voluntarily recalling two Dentley's Beef Hoof products for potential salmonella contamination.

The recalled products include only the following types of hooves purchased this year between Oct. 2 and Nov. 3: Dentley's Bulk Cattle Hoof (UPC 73725703323) and Dentley's 10 Pack Beef Hooves (UPC 73725736055).

Although the affected product was not shipped to every store, PetSmart immediately recalled the product from all of its U.S. stores.

Many dogs do not show clinical signs of salmonella. However, when they do, they often have diarrhea or other signs of systemic infections.

Customers who purchased the recalled products can return them to any PetSmart store for a complete refund or exchange. For additional information about the recall, visit www.petsmartfacts.com, www.petsmart.com, www.fda.gov or contact PetSmart Customer Service at 1-888-839-9638.
