ST. LOUIS -- Lambert Airport in St. Louis has opened a second checkpoint location in its East Terminal to screen passengers faster during periods of peak demand.
The additional checkpoint gives Lambert two more security lanes in the East Terminal. The airport says on its busiest day last month, it screened more than 7,600 passengers at that location.
Airport officials expect more demand when Southwest Airlines adds some additional flights in the spring.
