'70s Rock Band Announces Update on 2026 Tour Dates

Chicago, the band, just announced some exciting news.

Self-described as the "rock and roll band with horns," the iconic group announced three more shows on their ongoing Windy Cities Tour, which kicked off with a nine-show residency in Las Vegas in February, followed by the actual tour around North America since May 1.

The new concerts added were a performance at the Wind Creek Event Center in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, on Nov. 5, a show at Wallingford, Connecticut's Toyota Oakdale Theater on Nov. 11, and a gig on Nov. 14 at the Seneca Allegany Resort & Casino in Salamanca, New York.

Styx will not be in attendance for the new November shows.

Chicago was formed in 1967 in the city of Chicago by Peter Cetera, Terry Kath, Robert Lamm, Lee Loughnane, James Pankow, Walter Parazaider and Danny Seraphine. Since its formation almost 60 years ago, they have become one of the most successful American bands in the Recording Industry Association of America and Billboard, selling over 40 million units in the United States and five consecutive No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200. In addition, the group has 10 Grammy nominations, and many of their albums and members have been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the Grammy Hall of Fame and the Songwriters Hall of Fame over the years.

Lamm, Loughnane and Pankow are the only original members of the band left in the lineup. Others include Walfredo Reyes Jr, Ray Herrmann, Ramon "Ray" Yslas, Tony Obrohta, Eric Baines, Carlos Murguia, Justin Avery and Rudy Cardenas.

For the rest of June, Chicago will be performing in various venues and states around the country, including Virginia, New York, Florida and more, before Styx joins them from July 13 to Sept. 6. Chicago will then continue to tour solo around the West Coast, the Midwest and the East Coast throughout the fall.

"We are excited about the summer tour," Loughnane said in a press release. "Chicago has never toured with Styx before, so it's going to be a lot of fun. We're looking forward to it."

On Wednesday, Chicago will be performing at the San Diego County Fair, and around New Jersey, Virginia and West Virginia over the next two weeks.

Tickets for Chicago's newly announced shows taking place in November will go on sale on Wednesday at 10 am ET. Fan club presale starts tomorrow morning. More information and tickets can be purchased on the band's official website.
