Who Won ‘Jeopardy' Today? (June 8, 2026) Plus, the Final Jeopardy Answer
There are three things guaranteed in the world today: Death, taxes, and Jeopardy! being on. Believe it or not, the iconic game show has been on the air for over 60 years (though the modern incarnation we know and love technically debuted in 1984). Under the watchful eye of Ken Jennings (who himself was a record-breaking champion), Jeopardy! puts three people's trivia skills and reflexes to the ultimate test. And so many of the greats to grace those podiums started by simply watching the show as it aired on weekdays, as millions have done for over half a century.

What was Final Jeopardy today?
Final Jeopardy today was in the category "21ST CENTURY TV."
The clue: "The title of this series that premiered in 2012 goes back to a colloquial word coined by Alben Barkley's grandson."
The answer: "What is Veep?"
McFerrin had a dominant lead at the end of DJ with $24,800 next to Sobalvarro's $15,600 and Bowers' $4,000. He played it smart with a classic cover bet of $6,401, the exact amount needed to beat Sobalvarro, even if he doubled up. With a correct answer, McFerrin finished at $31,201, while Sobalvarro wagered big at $15,599, nearly his entire total, and got it wrong ("What is Ballers"?), plummeting to just $1. Bowers also swung big, wagering $3,999 for an end total of $1.
McFerrin will be back on Tuesday for his shot at his seventh win.
