8 a.m. June 20, Car show, Glenview Church of the Nazarene, 400 Glen Carbon Road, Glen Carbon. Registration from 8 a.m. to noon, juding from noon to 3:30 p.m., awards at 4 p.m. $15 entry fee or $5 for display only. Dash plaques to first 100 participants. Concessions available.

10:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m. June 20, Music in Madison, True Fellowship Church, 1639 3rd St., Madison. Free. Features Sound of the Ship choir, Wings of Worship Youth Dance Ministry and Y-C.R.E.W. Youth Ministry. Also, JR, Mitchell Ford & The Worship Experience, Jewel & converted, J & J Power Tools, Rio & Trademark, Zion Travelers, Prophecy, DuC'zon and Jai performing. Bring lawn chairs, blankets.

noon June 20, Gary Lane Benefit, VFW Hall, Dupo. Food served includes barbecue pork steaks, hamburgers, side dishes and wings. Lane is a Vietnam veteran who has lost both legs and now has cancer.

noon-1 p.m. June 20, Fishing Derby, Pavilion 1, Drost Park, Maryville. Hosted by Maryville Parks & Recreation Departent. For children 14 and under. Free. Registration at 11 a.m. Hot dogs, chips, drinks served. Awards given in six age categories. 4 p.m. June 20, Alhambra Homecoming, Alhambra Firemen-Legion Park, Alhambra. Parade at 6 p.m. Music by Buzz the Dawg. Carnival food, booths, rides and games. Sponsored by Alhambra Volunteer Fire Department and the Alhambra Jaycees.

4-9 p.m. June 20, Open House, old Glen Carbon Firehouse, 180 Summit St., Glen Carbon. Hosted by Metro East Model Railroad Club. Held during the Glen Carbon homecoming. Free admission.

4-11:30 p.m. June 20, St. Agatha Church Parish Picnic, church grounds, 205 S. Market St., New Athens. Mass at 3:30 p.m., quilt bingo, washer tournament, basket raffle, kids games, cake raffle, food and beverages.

4 p.m.-midnight June 20, Glen Carbon Homecoming, downtown Glen Carbon. Carnival and pony rides, games of chance, carnival games wine bar, beer garden, foods. Garden tour from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., parade at 5 p.m., music by Exit 12 from 5:30 to 7:15 p.m., Partytime DJ/karaoke from 7 p.m. to midnight. Smash a car from 7 p.m. to midnight. Topper Harley Band from 8 p.m. to midnight. Fireworks at dusk.

5-11 p.m. June 20, Summer Festival, Holy Rosary, Fairmont City. Food, games, booths, childrens carnival area.

7-9 p.m. June 20, George Portz and his Friends of Bluegrass, Borsch Park, Valmeyer. Free admission.

7-10 p.m. June 20, Zydecco Craw Daddy's, Bobby's Frozen Custard, Route 159, Maryville. Free.

8 p.m. June 20, Benefit Bull Riding and Barrel Racing Rodeo, Eagles Club, 402 Hacker St., Chester. Mutton Bustin. Rodeo clwons. $8 per person, $6 for children six to 12 and free to children under five. Proceeds donated to St. Louis Shriners Hospital, Make-a-Wish Foundation and St. Jude's Research Hospital. Sponsored by Randolph County Saddle Club.

8 p.m. June 20, Wrestling, East Carondelet Community Center, East Carondelet. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. 286-3393 or 286-5600.
