Another round of severe thunderstorms is expected to hit the St. Louis region Tuesday afternoon and through the night, and a tornado watch is in effect until 9 p.m.
The thunderstorms are predicted to bring tornadoes, heavy rain, frequent lightning strikes and powerful wind gusts, according to meteorologists at AccuWeather.
Some of the storms could produce large hail. The risk for isolated storms, tornadoes and hail is expected to continue through Wednesday morning, according the National Weather Service in St. Louis.
