Roger and Julia Klucker of Swansea celebrated their 50th anniversary on Sat., Oct. 18th with a family get together and dinner, hosted by their daughters at Mascoutah Steak House.
Roger and the former Julia May were married on Oct. 31, 1964 at Chapel #7 in Ft. Leonard Wood, by Most Rev. Col. Grandperre.
Roger is a retired UAW employee from Chrysler Corp., a past employee of National Shrine of our Lady of the Snows and presently works for Enterprise.
Julia is a retired cosmetologist.

The couple attends church at the National Shrine of our Lady of the Snows. When not enjoying grand- and great-grandchildren they can be found exploring the beaches of the Emerald Coast.
They have 4 children: Rhonda (Carol) O’Brien, High Ridge, MO., Jane Marie (Steve) Boyle, Carbondale, IL, Kelly (Greg) Zemblidge, St. Charles, MO, Amy (Randy) Riesenberger, Swansea, IL.
They have 6 grandchildren: Megan (Matthew) Stevens, Rachel (fiance Paul) Riesenberger, Leah Riesenberger, Isaac Riesenberger, Kiele Rainey, and forever in our hearts Lacey Boyle (deceased).
They have 2 great-grandchildren: Makenzie Colleen and her little brother Alexander Edward Stevens.
