Crime blotter 3/11/15

The following incidents were listed among the official reports of local law enforcement agencies and court clerks. Readers are reminded that an arrest or charge does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.

ST. CLAIR COUNTY FELONIES

FRIDAY, FEB. 13

Derrick R. Scott, 26, of 1718 Doris Ave., Cahokia, arrested on suspicion of aggravated delivery of methamphetamine, unlawful possession with the intent to deliver methamphetamine and unlawful delivery of methamphetamine on or abour Feb. 11 by St. Clair County sheriff. Scott allegedly, delivered to Sharon Popham less than five grams of a substance containing methamphetamine; possessed with the intent to deliver less than 5 grams of a substance containing methamphetamine; delivered to Jimmie McFadden less than 5 grams of a substance containing methamphetamine.

Jimmie K. McFadden, 56, of 1014 State St., P.O. Box 263, East Carondelet, arrested on suspicion of unlawful possession of methamphetamine on or about Feb. 11 by St. Clair County sheriff. McFadden allegedly, had i her possession less than 5 grams of a substance containing methamphetamine.

Sharon M. Popham, 23, of 1217 Bluff Drive, Dupo, arrested on suspicion of unlawful possession of methamphetamine on or about Feb. 11 by St. Clair County sheriff. Popham allegedly, had in her possession less than 5 grams of a substance containing methamphetamine.

Herman Addison Jr., 52, of 7899 Lake Drive, Rear, Centreville, arrested on suspicion of unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon on or about Feb. 11 by St. Clair County sheriff. Addison allegedly, possessed in a residence a .38 caliber revolver. Defendant had been previously convicted of aggravated battery, a felony, on April 19, 2006.

Christopher Delay, 32, of 916 Lindemann, Dupo, arrested on suspicion of unlawful procurement of methamphetamine precursor on or about Feb. 11 by St. Clair County sheriff. Delay allegedly, procured less than 15 grams of a methamphetamine precursor in standard dose form, being a substance containing pseudoephedrine, with the intent that it be used to manufacture a substance containing methamphetamine.

Gregory L. Hayes, 47, of 5146 Vernon Ave., St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of unlawful possession of a controlled substance on or about Feb. 13 by Illinois State Police. Hayes allegedly, had in his possession less than 15 grams of a substance containing heroin.

Jarrard T. Watson, 25, of 425 N. 18th St., East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of two counts of aggravated fleeing and attempting to elude a police officer, obstructing a police officer and driving under the influence o or about Jan. 25 by Cahokia police. Watson allegedly, while operating a motro vehicle, a green 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix, was given a visual signal by a police officer, Gary Craig, who was in police uniform and driving a vehicle which displayed illuminated, oscillating, rotating or flashing red or blue lights which when used in conjunctionwith an audible horn or siren would indicate the vehicle to be an official police vehicle, directing the defendant to bring said green 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix to a stop, willfully fled or attempted to eluce the police officer and that when willfully fleeing or attempting to elude the police officer, the defendant traveled at a rate of speed 21 mph over the legal speed limit; disobeyed two or more official traffic control devices, being stop signs; obstructed the performance of Gary Craig of an authorized act within his official capacity, being the arrest of Jarrard Watson, knowing Gary Craig to be a peace officer engaged in the execution of his official duties, in that he ran from Gary Craig after being ordered to stop; drove a green 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix on Camp Jackson Road in Cahokia, while the defendant was under the influence of alcohol.

Charita L. Roberts, 40, of 129 Blue Water Lane, Rear, Cahokia, arrested on suspicion of aggravated battery and domestic battery on or about Feb. 12 by Cahokia police. Roberts allegedly, and by the use of a deadly weapon, a knife, knowingly caused bodily harm to Kia Walls, in that she stabbed Kia Walls in his back; made physical contact with Kia Walls, a family/household member, in that said defendant stabbed him in the back with a knife.

FRIDAY, FEB. 13

Anthony D. Mays, 38, of East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of armed robbery and parole violation by Washington Park police.

Charita L. Roberts, 40, of Cahokia, arrested on suspicion of aggravated battery by Cahokia police.

Donisha T. Powers, 27, of East St. Louis, warrant arrest by St. Clair County sheriff.

Devion D. Gossett, 19, of Caseyville, arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance by Collinsville police.

Darnell C. Gossett, 24, of Caseyville, arrested on suspicion of delivery or possession with intent by Collinsville police.

Demetrius D. Stewart, 22, of Granite City, arrested on suspicion of unlawful use of a weapon and probation violation by St. Clair County sheriff.

Gina M. Mathis, 29, of O’Fallon, arrested on suspicion of theft over $300 and warrant arrest by St. Clair County sheriff.
