ST. CLAIR COUNTY FELONIES
TUESDAY, FEB. 17
Jacques T. Smith, 18, of 1713 W. Highway 50 St., Lot 161, O’Fallon, arrested on suspicion of aggravated discharge of a firearm, reckless discharge of a firearm and aggravated unlawful use of a weapon on or about Feb. 13 by O’Fallon police. Smith allegedly, while outside the building located at 808 Cypress Court, O’Fallon, and under circumstances where the defendant reasonably should have known that the building was occupied, knowingly discharged a firearm, a pistol, at that building; endangered the safety of Tonja Everett in that while acting in a reckless manner, he discharged a firearm, a pistol, and in so doing shot into the victim’s bedroom and caused damage therein; knowingly carried on his person a .38 caliber revolver at a time when he was not on his own land, or in his own abode, or fixed placed of business, and said defendant was under 21 years of age and in possession of a handgun.
Eric W. Krill, 53, of 1710 Shadow Ridge Court, Apt. C., Belleville, arrested on suspicion of two counts of aggravated driving under the influence and driving on a suspended or revoked driver’s license on or about Feb. 13 by Swansea police. Krill allegedly, drove a 2001 Pontiac Sunfire on North Illinois Street in Swansea, while the defendant was under the influence of alcohol and during a period in which the defendant’s driving privileges were revoked. Defendant had been previously committed the offense of driving under the influence of alcohol on Sept. 8 ,2011 and on April, 25, 2005.
Antoine D. Johnson, 24, of 518 N. 36th St., East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of armed robbery on or about Feb. 14 by Brooklyn police. Johnson allegedly, while carrying a firearm on his person, knowingly took property, being shoes, clothing and keys from the presence of Alexis Miller, by threatening the use of force.
Branden L. Shannon, 29, of 518 N. 36t St., East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of armed robbery and felony possession of a firearm on or about Feb. 14 by Brooklyn police. Shannon allegedly, while carrying a firearm on his person, knowingly took property, being shoes, clothing and keys from the presence of Alexis Mill, by threatening the use of force; a person who has been convicted of a felony, knowingly possessed a .38 caliber revolver. The defendant had been previously convicted of burglary.
Rufus L. Thomas Jr., 22, of 1628 Henrietta Ave., East St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of aggravated fleeing on or about Feb. 15 by Metro East Auto Theft Task Force. Thomas allegedly, while operating a motor vehicle, a 2010 Ford Mustang, was given a visual signal by a police officer, William Fox, who was in police uniform and driving a vehicle which displayed illuminated, oscillating, rotating, or flashing red or blue lights which when used in conjunction with an audible horn or siren would indicate the vehicle to be an official police vehicle, directing the defendant to bring said 2010 Ford Mustang to a stop, willfully fled or attempted to elude the police officer and than when willfully fleeing or attempting to elude the police officer, the defendant disobeyed two or more official traffic control devices, being stop signs.
Tawon Swinson, 16, of 702 Carl Drive, Collinsville, arrested on suspicion of two counts of aggravated criminal sexual assault between Sept. 5 and Sept. 26, 2014 by Collinsville police. Swinson allegedly, committed an act of sexual assault with a female minor, date of birth, May 23, 2007, who was under 9 years of age.
Stevie J. Piper, 32, of 103 Southern Drive, Lot 11, Caseyville, arrested on suspicion of two counts of residential burglary between Aug. 27 and Aug. 18, 2013, Aug. 30 and Aug. 31, 2013 by Collinsville police. Pipe allegedly, and without authority, entered into the dwelling place of M.E. located in the 600 block of Greenwood Place, Collinsville, with the intent to commit theft therein.
Daniel E. Bell, 30, of 8803 Bermuda Ave., Caseyville, arrested on suspicion of unlawful failure to report change of address as a sex offender on or about Oct. 15, 2014 by Caseyville police. Bell allegedly, a sex offender, knowingly failed to notify registering law enforcement agency of change of address, in accordance with the provisions of the Sex Offender Registration Act, with the Chief of Police of the City of Caseyville, within 3 days of change of his residence address.
Brittany N. Long, 28, of 5242 Palm St., St. Louis, arrested on suspicion of retail theft on or about Jan. 30 by O’Fallon police. Long allegedly, took merchandise from Walmart, 1530 W. Highway 50, O’Fallon, being a mobile phone, boots, and clothes, total retail value in excess of $300.
