ST. CLAIR COUNTY FELONIES

WEDNESDAY, FEB. 25

Sara M. Hurlahe, 29, of 601 Whetstone Lane, Mascoutah, arrested on suspicion of theft between Dec. 31, 2014 and Feb. 18, 2015 by Mascoutah police. Hurlahe allegedly, took property of James and Cheryl Hurlahe, being jewelry, a fire pit, a computer monitor, a yard trimmer and other miscellaneous items, total value in excess of $500, said offenses constituting a series of acts performed at different times in furtherance of a single intention and design.

Kegan P. Leible, 25, of 601 Whetstone Lka Lane, Mascoutah, arrested on suspicion of theft between Dec. 31, 2014 and Feb. 18, 2015 by Mascoutah police. Leible allegedly, took property from James and Cheryl Hurlahe, being jewelry, a fire pit, a computer monitor, a yard trimmer and other miscellaneous items, total value in excess of $500, said offenses constituting a series of acts performed at different times in furtherance of a single itention and design.

Gail Y. King, 51, of 9001 Lebanon, 10A, Belleville, arrested on suspicion of retail theft, subsequent and obstructing identification on or about Feb. 24 by Swansea police. King allegedly, took merchandise from Schnuck’s, 2665 N. Illinois St., Swansea, being diapers and formula, total retail value not in excess of $300; knowingly furnished a false name to Nicholas VanWaes, a peace officer for the City of Swansea, who has lawfully detained said defendant. Defendant had been previously convicted of retail theft on May 26, 2006.

Lamont A. Watson, 41, of 814 S. 7th St., Belleville, arrested on suspicion of aggravated driving under the influence and driving while driver’s license is revoked, subsequent on or about Dec. 13, 2014 by Caseyville police. Watson allegedly, drove a white 2007 Chevrolet Impala on Illinois Route 157 in Caseyville, while the defendant was under the influence of alcohol and during a period in which the defendant’s driving privileges were revoked. The defendant had been previously convicted of driving while license is suspended on March 7, 2005.

Mark E. Shafer, 61, of 801 Hollywood Heights Road, Caseyville, arrested on suspicion of aggravated driving under the influence and driving while driver’s license is revoked, subsequent on or about Feb. 5 by Caseyville police. Shafer allegedly, drove a red Chevrolet truck on North Illinois Street in Caseyville while the defendant was under the influence of alcohol and during a period in which the defendant’s driving privileges were revoked. The defendant had been previously convicted of driving while license is revoked on Dec. 20, 2006.

Gabriel W. Schneider, 20, of 753 Lakepointe Centre Drive, O’Fallon, arrested on suspicion of unlawful restraint and two counts of domestic battery on or about Feb. 23 by O’Fallon Police. Schneider allegedly, detained Alahna Galloway in that he picked her up, put her over his shoulder, and carried her downstairs against her will; bit her on the lip; and grabbed her by her neck.
