What qualifies you for this position?
“I have lived in Cahokia for 28 years and most of those years I just went about my business, doing the best I knew how. I had many concerns, so I need to be more involved. I became a Library Board member, learned a lot there, then I became a village trustee board member and that was when I really became involved and concern. It was serving on that trustee board I wanted to do more, so I ran for Precinct Committeemen for Precinct 25 last year and lost. So now here I am again very concern about the future of the city, I’m invested in this city I love, so now I’m running for Village Clerk on a team I believe in.”
What is the top issue in your race, and how would you address it?
“To continue the betterment and growth of the Village of Cahokia; with the continuation of the street repairs, more business to be brought into Cahokia producing more jobs for its citizens. Creating more activities for our youth, and continuing to grow as a even better city.”
