A rescue dog is winning hearts online after her daycare report card revealed a consistent and very specific habit that perfectly captures her personality.

Tori Parks and her husband, Camden, adopted their 1-year-old dog, Maggie, from the humane society when she was 3 months old. They believe she is a Staffordshire bull terrier, pit bull and Labrador mix. To help their rescue with socialization and enrichment, the couple will periodically drop Maggie off at doggy daycare, Parks told Newsweek.

Each visit to daycare comes with a “report card” given to the owners, detailing a dog’s moods and behavior, activities they engaged in, friends they’ve made, and overall staff observations. While the couple is accustomed to receiving these report cards, a recent one left them in stitches.

Parks shared photos of the report card and screenshots from the daycare’s live camera feed on the dog’s TikTok account, @maggiemoomoo123, on May 28. The images showed Maggie perched confidently in the teacher’s chair, watching over the room as if she were supervising the other dogs.

“They have cameras in the room, so when I checked in on her, I saw her sitting in the chair,” Parks said. “So, I had to screenshot it! Then they ended up writing it in the report card. She sits there every time she is there!”

The daycare staff’s observation wasn’t a one-off.

Parks said that every time she checks the doggy daycare cameras, Maggie is found occupying the chair. In fact, she believes the dog has become increasingly comfortable in her preferred spot and now spends longer stretches there during each visit.

“I was laughing so hard,” she said. “What they write in these report cards sums up her personality perfectly. She sits there every time she is there.”

The behavior may be unusual for daycare, but it’s completely normal at home.

According to Parks, Maggie frequently sits in chairs like a person and even joins the family at the dinner table.

“She will know when I am plating dinner or if the timer goes off and I need to take dinner out of the oven,” she said. “That means dinner is almost done, so she sits at her seat.”

The couple embraces Maggie’s human-like quirks. Maggie is deeply integrated into their daily life-so much so that they refer to her as their “only child.” They spoil her, letting her lean into her human-esque personality.

Aside from her fondness for commandeering the teacher’s chair, Maggie has earned glowing reviews at daycare. Parks said all of her report cards have been positive, and the family proudly displays them on the refrigerator.
