That's a future king of the jungle there, folks! People on the internet couldn't get enough of a tiger cub who was so cautious around another creature - it was a tortoise! Guess the baby didn't realize that he was one of the most fearsome creatures in the animal kingdom, because the little guy was shaking in his boots.

One day the tiger cub won't be afraid of anything, but until that happens he's practically a chicken around any animal he doesn't recognize - tortoise included.

This is a pairing you don't often see. Maybe this is the reason why!

The footage is pretty darn adorable. It shows the white tiger cub looking mighty nervous. Perhaps the tortoise gave him a reason to be scared, or maybe he heard about how tough a tortoise shell is! Either way, the cub was completely freaked.

The little one backed away slowly, it was like he was scared of rattling the tortoise! Little did he know that he could probably make a break from it and the other animal would likely never catch up.

"Tiny Tiger: 'Don't come any closer!'" the video's caption reads.

People in the comments section couldn't help but laugh.

"The paws are bigger than him," joked one person.

"Revisit this moment in 6 months," someone else teased.

"[Tortoise] tryna put fear in the tiger early lol," another commenter joked.

While one person had a totally different take on what's going on: "They lowkey love each other," they quipped.

How Big Are Tiger Cubs?

Such a cute little guy! I know, I know. One day he'll be bigger than me, but right now he's so stinkin' small. Tiger cubs are usually about 1.75 - 3 lbs. when they're born, and then rapidly start to put on weight. At about six months, male tiger cubs are about 90 to 105 lbs. and females are about 60 to 75 lbs.

But have no fear! A tiger cub can also be a scaredy cat!
