Shopping events

A Forever Vintage Christmas Market — Friday through Sunday, Belle-Clair Fairgrounds, 200 South Belt East (Illinois 13 and 159), Belleville. Hours are 3 to 8 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Admission: First Pick Friday, $10 (good for all weekend); $5 covers both Saturday and Sunday; children 12 and under free. Vendors with repurposed, industrial, vintage, architectural salvage, antiques, primitive, handmade, furniture, gourmet foods, clothing and vintage jewelry. Live music, cash bar, Stray Rescue STL, with a portion of all proceeds benefit the rescue group.

Christmas Bazaar — Noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Millstadt VFW Post 7980. Variety of vendors, from Tastefully Simple and Dept. 31 to Holy Crafters and Partylite. Food and drinks available for purchase. Bring nonperishable food items for a chance to win a prize. All items to be donated to the Millstadt Food Pantry.

Change in deadline

Deadlines for What’s Happening, Thursday and Sunday briefs, Club News and Religion briefs have now changed to a single date: The Thursday at noon prior to the week the event occurs. This will go into effect Dec. 1.

For example: Noon Thursday, Dec. 8, is the deadline if you want your local event to appear in the Thursday, Dec. 15 edition of the paper. It is also the deadline for any other brief/club news set to appear Dec. 15, 17 or 18. It must be submitted to the Lifestyle section and labeled accordingly.
