Center to have religious revival event

John Curry Ministries presents, “4 Days of a Kingdom Spectrum Explosion,” a religious event that celebrates the supernatural power of God at 7 p.m. Sunday-Wednesday, July 23-26, at the Conqueror’s Christian Center, 200 E. Washington St., Belleville. Speakers include ministers Chavon Hopgood, Jethro Hopgood and Theophilus Afogho and the Rev. Dr. John L. Curry, pastor and founder of the center.

“We are of the belief that the power of God never stops,” Curry said. “Any believer can operate in the power of God.” The ‘Kingdom Spectrum Explosion’ seeks to reveal and demonstrate the various signs, miracles and wonders of God. For further information, contact the church at 618-277-5671.

Vacation Bible School in Belleville

The Calvary Lutheran church will have “God’s Olympics — Character Traits of the Christian Life,” from 3-7 p.m. Sunday, July 30, at the church, 6606 W. Main St., Belleville. This event will feature water games, snacks, crafts and more. The focus of the school is commitment, balance, strength and endurance. Healing and Hope Novena at the Shrine

The 74th annual Healing and Hope Novena is at 7:30 p.m. July 29-August 6, at the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows, 442 S. De Mazenod Drive, Belleville. The Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate invite anyone who seek God’s healing and mercy. Each evening of the novena features preaching, music and prayers. Services conclude with a candlelight rosary procession.
