Retired Judge Annette Eckert will make an informational and strategic planning presentation about the Restorative Justice and Teen Court from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 23, in the Performing Arts room of the Southwestern Illinois College campus, 500 W. South 4th St., Red Bud.

Eckert will have partners from various programs including attorneys, law enforcement officials, parents, students and school personnel to help educate attendees about Restorative Justice and Teen Court. This is an opportunity to positively address community youth issues such as drugs, alcohol use and theft.

This free event is hosted by the Regional Office of Education of Monroe and Randolph Counties in collaboration with the State's Attorneys of Monroe and Randolph counties. Register: www.educationregistration.org/roe45.
