Dr. Noelle R. Miles has been named president-elect of the Greater St. Louis Veterinary Medical Association for 2009-2010. She will then serve as president in 2010-11. She practices companion animal medicine and surgery at Mon-Clair Animal Hospital and also serves on the Board of Directors of the Belleville Area Humane Society.

Sue Fizer and Toni Hannon of Coldwell Banker Brown Realtors in Belleville have earned the certified distressed property expert designation.

Daniel Vincent with U.S. Cellular was recently promoted to store manager for the company's Collinsville and Belleville locations. He will direct daily activities and guide store associates to deliver customer satisfaction.

Chaplain Darrell Coons of the Belleville, Northwest and East Side fire departments, was selected by the Chaplains Commission of the North American Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention for ecclesiastical endorsement as a volunteer disaster relief chaplain.
