The last day to register to vote, and be eligible to vote in the Nov. 8 general election, is Oct. 11, the St. Clair County Clerk’s office said.
The County Clerk’s office said it plans to be open on Saturday, Sept. 10, and Saturday, Oct. 1, from 8:30 a.m. to noon. On these two Saturdays, all regular County Clerk business will be conducted, including voter registration.
The office will also be open during normal business hours, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
To register to vote, a person must have two forms of identification. One must be a picture ID and one must have the person’s current name and address, the clerk’s office said.

“Voting is one of our greatest privileges and I hope everyone will take advantage of these additional hours provided for you,” said St. Clair County Clerk Thomas Holbrook.
