A Fairview Heights man was being sought by Shiloh Police in connection with an investigation into home-repair fraud.

Jimmy G. Joles, 42, is accused of neither performing work he was hired to do nor returning money he was paid by a Shiloh resident, police said.

The Shiloh resident, who is older than 60, filed a report in July. The work was expected to be completed in February on the resident’s property, police said.

A warrant was issued this week by the St. Clair County State’s Attorney’s Office charging Joles with aggravated home fraud/misrepresentation. His bail was set at $50,000.

Joles was not in custody as of Thursday, and anyone with information regarding his whereabouts can contact the Shiloh Police Department 618-632-9047.
