Former St. Louis Rams wide receiver Isaac Bruce has scheduled a free football clinic June 3 that will be open to 500 St. Louis-area youngsters.

The free clinic, which is being organized through his foundation, will provide youngsters an opportunity to work on their football skills, sportsmanship and teamwork skills, and build self-esteem, according to a news release.

Each participant will receive a T-shirt and refreshments as well as have the opportunity to meet Bruce, the release said.

Registration is open to the public. Space is limited to the first 250 youngsters in each of the two sessions: ages 8-10 from 9-11 a.m. and ages 11-13 from noon to 2 p.m.

The clinic is scheduled to take place at Gateway STEM High School at 5101 McRee Ave. in St. Louis.
