This burger is so St. Louis it just might make you loony.
It’s the St. Lunatic burger, Sugarfire’s latest creation, and locals are eating it up — online and in person.
Eric Erhard, chef and manager at the Sugarfire location in St. Charles, told the Riverfront Times that they prepped enough food to make 50 burgers as a special, which they promptly sold out of Tuesday.
As of Wednesday afternoon, Sugarfire’s post on Facebook about the St. Louis-inspired monster burger had been shared over 1,600.

In the post, they describe it as a single cheeseburger topped with barbecued pork steak, toasted ravioli, Old Vienna’s Red Hot Ripplets chips, provel cheese and Imo’s Pizza slices for buns.
“We can assure you that this is the most St. Louis thing to ever happen in St. Charles and quite possibly the most historic thing since Louis (sic) and Clark,” the restaurant wrote.
Erhard told the Riverfront Times that they may re-do the special if customers request an encore.
