Metro-east residents should walk out of their doors prepared for morning rain, as forecasters are calling for thunderstorms likely before 1 p.m. with a high near 84 degrees Friday.

On Friday night, skies should remain partly cloudy with a low around 61 degrees.

Tonight ... Partly cloudy, with a low around 61 degrees. Northwest wind 5 to 10 mph.

Saturday ... Sunny, with a high near 82 degrees. Northwest wind 5 to 8 mph.

Saturday Night ... Mostly clear, with a low around 57 degrees. Northwest wind 5 to 7 mph becoming calm in the evening.

Sunday ... Sunny, with a high near 82 degrees. Light west wind becoming northwest 5 to 9 mph in the morning.
