Police have arrested a Madison man in connection with a Belleville bank robbery.
Suntez L. Pasley, 45, was charged with aggravated robbery and resisting a police officer, according to a Belleville police news release. Police say Pasley robbed a Regions Bank on July 22 in Belleville.
He allegedly walked into the bank, handed the teller a note and a bag and demanded money. Pasley fled after the teller filled the bag with cash, police said.
Pasley was originally held Wednesday on an unrelated outstanding warrant for a parole violation. As of Friday afternoon, Pasley was still booked in the St. Clair County Jail, in lieu of $150,000 bail.
