A 22-year-old man stabbed his brother Thursday night at a home in the 900 block of Kaestner Drive in Dupo, police said.
The man’s 24-year-old brother refused medical treatment, according to Dupo Police Chief Kevin Smith.
The 22-year-old was in custody Thursday morning and was to be interviewed by officers. Smith said investigators hoped the interview would shine light on what sparked the dispute.
The younger brother was intoxicated during the stabbing, Smith said
“We hope to have charges by this afternoon,” Smith said.
Smith said their mother was there and tried to break up the fight. She was not injured.
