Uncle Nick’s Deli is anticipated to open for business later this week in Belleville. The independent restaurant will serve sandwiches, soups and salads inside Firehouse Crossing, shopping center at the corner of Illinois 13 and Frank Scott Parkway.
Cloud 9 Cafe, Lounge & Emporium is a new venue at Chateau Plaza in Fairview Heights that invites consumers to enjoy fresh coffee, pastries and more while enjoying local art. A sign posted at the Subway restaurant at 101 W. Washington St. in Millstadt reads that the store has closed. There is no word if the closure is temporary.

Illinois St. in Fairview Heights across town in the former fire house on Lincoln Highway. The Austin, Texas-based business does not expect to complete the move until sometime later this year.
