It’s going to be a soggy Tuesday in the metro-east.
Rain is expected to fall at least until 1 p.m. After that, showers will begin to taper off.
The high temperature is expected to reach 55 during the daytime hours. Overnight, it will become foggy with a low of 39.
Patchy fog will carry over into Wednesday morning, possibly slowing commuters. The fog is expected to burn off by about 9 a.m. After that skies will become mostly sunny and the high temperature will shoot up to 65.

There is a 20 percent chance of rain in the forecast for Thursday, when the high will be 61. Overnight, the chance of rain will increase to 50 percent and the low will be 45.
