Racial Harmony’s ‘All Lives Matter’ series continues Thursday

The Center for Racial Harmony’s series “All Lives Matter” continues with a dinner meeting and panel discussion Thursday evening in Fairview Heights.

A panel of law enforcement officials from around the metro-east will discuss the topic “Our Communities and the Law” at the Fairview Heights Recreation Center, 10025 Bunkum Road, just behind the police station.

Among those on the panel are U.S. Attorney for Southern Illinois Stephen Wigginton, St. Clair County State’s Attorney Brendan Kelly, Belleville Police Chief Bill Clay, Fairview Heights Police Chief Nicholas Gailius and O’Fallon Police Chief Eric Van Hook. They’ll discuss best practices in 21st century policing and will also hear observations and suggestions from citizens.

The event is free and open to the public and starts at 6 p.m.
