Troy residents are under a boil order that could last as long as two days after drilling crews struck a 16-inch water main.
Residents should boil water for at least five minutes before drinking. The order will be lifted once city officials are notified the water is clear for use.
Residents with questions about the boil order can call 618-667-9924, extensions 1 or 2, between 7 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
